The Multiply products are partly versatile and widely available, and are partly integrated in the company systems of Sound and Vision. These products are:

The GTAA-thesaurus, always up to date, according to the SKOS format, and published by the CATCHPlus OpenSKOS platform. In addition, Sound and Vision has invested in the complementary development of a management environment for thesauri, which is used in combination with OpenSKOS. This environment will become publicly available under an open source licence.
ContextDatabase: an information system that saves and offers (textual) context sources linked to audio and video recordings. This CDB is only used at Sound and Vision.
MASS: Media Archivist Support System.
Publication of the Sound and Vision catalog using OAI-PMH. On publication records will automatically receive persistent identifiers (handles). This way, the catalog is supplied to i.a. the National Aggregator for Europeana.

CATCH

CATCHPlus builds on the running programme "Continuous Access To Cultural Heritage" (CATCH), ran by N.W.O. (The Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research). In CATCH, computer scientists, the humanities and the cultural heritage sector have set up a unique collaboration with collection managing institutions. Innovation, transferability and cooperation are central issues in this project.

CATCH started in 2004 and a number of subprojects has finished. In CATCHPlus, the prototypes and demos fro eight of the finished projects will be converted to reliable tools. Software that is solid and can be used in multiple institutions. From prototype to reliable application!
